Red and white in vertical blocks, built with a fully loaded knife.
One of the most physical pieces in the studio - full tubes of paint, no thinning. The white blocks are laid over the red once it's already tacky, so they drag and tear at the edges instead of sitting clean on top.
Very heavy impasto, ridges reach roughly a quarter inch off the canvas in places.
